8 Hour Program - Hobby Welding Course

Course Description:

This class is assigned to teach safety and very basic oxy-fuel cutting and brazing Shielded Metal Arc Welding with E-6013 and Gas Metal Arc Welding on Sheet metal.

• Demonstrate the ability to the proper set-up of oxy-fuel equipment.
• Demonstrate the ability of proper use of oxy-fuel equipment to braze cast iron.
• Demonstrate the ability to properly use sheet metal electrode E-6013.
• Set up Gas Metal Arc equipment and weld 16 gauge sheet metal in the flat and horizontal position.
